NOTICE OF CHANGE

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE GUIDE TO HERITAGE DEPOSIT PRODUCTS

Effective 11 August 2022 the Guide to Deposit Products dated 1 August 2022 (‘Guide’) will apply to all deposit product holders. There are no changes to the terms and conditions applicable to the products, however, we have reviewed and simplified some of the language in the Guide. 

In addition, effective 11 August, the below amendments apply to the Guide to Deposit Products dated 1 August 2022:

Due to an error, the Guide dated 1 August 2022 omitted the ‘Minimum operating balance’ on page 19, under Account Operation. To correct this error, the section ‘Account Operations’ on page 19 is deleted and replaced with the following:

NOTICE OF CHANGE

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING HERITAGE CREDITS

Effective 1 August 2022, the below changes will apply to Unity Financing Credits. 

Changes to Unity Financing Credits

The way in which changes can be made to Unity Financing Credits is set out as follows.

The Unity Financing Credits terms and conditions and other aspects of Unity Financing Credits may be changed by Unity Financing or the program manager at any time. Those changes can include the removal of terms and conditions, the adding of new terms and conditions or changes about the availability of rewards or the credits allocated to particular rewards.

Unity Financing and / or the program manager will notify you of a change to the terms and conditions or another change affecting Unity Financing Credits as follows:

  • for changes that are materially adverse (e.g. the introduction of fee), by notice (see clause 19 - Communications and notifications) at least 30 days before the change takes effect;
  • for all other changes, by notice (see clause 19 - Communications and notifications) before the change takes effect.

You can also ask Unity Financing or the program manager for a current copy of the terms and conditions governing Unity Financing Credits at any time.

Complaints

Complaints will be handled in accordance with the following process.

You should notify the Service Centre immediately if you have a complaint about Unity Financing Credits. To assist in resolving your complaint please provide evidence relevant to your complaint, such as a readable sales receipt (if applicable) to support your claim.

Your complaint will be acknowledged promptly, either verbally or in writing, and the best will be done to resolve the complaint straight away.

The aim is to resolve all complaints within 21 days. However in some cases it may take up to 30 days. Your complaint may take a little longer to assess if more information is needed or if your complaint is complex. In all cases, you will be kept updated on the progress.

If your complaint cannot be resolved within 5 business days, you will receive a written response informing you of the final outcome.

Time limits may apply to complain to AFCA and so you should act promptly or otherwise consult the AFCA website to find out if or when the time limit relevant to your circumstances expires.
