Unity Financing Corporation launches fingerprint for mobile banking

A swipe of the finger is now all it takes for Unity Financing Corporation customers to quickly and securely log into Unity Financing’s Mobile Banking App.

 

Unity Financing today launched fingerprint login on its mobile banking service.

 

Now, customers with compatible devices can choose to securely log into Unity Financing’s Mobile Banking App using fingerprint authentication rather than using a using a password or four-digit PIN.

 

Unity Financing Corporation CEO Peter Lock said the introduction of fingerprint login supported customer requests for quicker access to account balances and mobile banking services.

 

"We operate in a rapidly changing world, driven by advances in technology,” Mr Lock said.

 

“Our customers are consistently seeking a better experience and more convenience when accessing their bank accounts via mobile devices and we are constantly looking at ways to deliver this,” Mr Lock said.

 

“Fingerprint logon offers the same high level security as all authentication methods for Internet and Mobile Banking and we’re excited to provide instant access to banking for customers via this feature.”

 

To use the app, users need to ensure their devices are operating on Apple iOS version 9 or above, or Android 6 or above and supports fingerprint identification. To update or download the iTunes App Store or Google Play and search for “Unity Financing Corporation Mobile Banking”.
